Peter Andre shares rare pic with wife Emily as they make the most of heatwave

Doting dad of four Peter Andre managed to find a quiet moment in the sunshine with his wife in the midst of the heatwave.

The singer, married to NHS doctor Emily MacDonagh, posted a rare but sweet pic of the couple in the back garden of their sprawling house in Surrey.

The 48-year-old and his stunning other half, 31, both hid their eyes behind shades as they soaked up the sun.

Pete and Emily have just returned from a half-term holiday in Portugal with their children, Amelia, seven, and Theo, four. They also took Pete’s older children from his marriage to Katie Price – Junior, 15, and Princess, 13.

Last month, Katie and her new fiancé Carl were some of the first British holidaymakers to travel to Portugal when the coronavirus lockdown restrictions were lifted in May.

They returned to Portugal last week to have a second ‘baby-making’ holiday, so they were in the country at the same time as the Andres.

Although Portugal is now on the amber list, Pete’s family were able to fly home beforehand and therefore avoid quarantining when they got home.

Also in May, Emily was celebrating the end of isolation for her entire family after her stepson Junior was diagnosed with coronavirus.

She was excitedly hoping that she and her brood would be getting a sunshine break soon – looks like her wish came true, and she didn't even need to leave her back garden.

And while Peter and Emily have long chatted openly about having more kids, she recently ruled out having another baby any time soon.

She recently admitted having more children is not on the cards just yet, although she does miss the feeling of having a newborn.

In her OK! magazine column, Emily penned: "So many of my friends have had babies this year and they'll send me pictures of them breastfeeding. It just makes me think about how much I loved it.

"Don't get me wrong, though, it's hard work when they're that young and I don't miss the sleepless nights, but I do miss the lovely feeling of having a newborn.

"But I definitely don't feel tempted to have another baby at the moment! You'd think all my friends having babies would make me broody but I'm not broody at all."
