Peter Andre shares rare glimpse of family on special Christmas trip before Wagatha Christie 'manhood' drama resurfaced

Peter Andre shared a rare glimpse at his adorable family before his name was dragged back into the headlines over his manhood. The Mysterious Girl singer had headed off to Lapland UK to enjoy a pre-Christmas treat with his wife Emily and their children.

Peter's daughter Princess, from his marriage to Katie Price, also joined in on the fun while her older brother Junior was nowhere to be seen but tagged in his dad's post.

The singer and TV star shared a series of photos on his Instagram page of their magical trip to enjoy the experience at Whitmoor Forest in Ascot, which has been popular among many celebrities this year including Cheryl who took her five-year-old son Bear to the experience alongside Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh.

"Even though my ice skating skills are questionable, Lapland UK truly is a magical place," Peter penned alongside his post. "We go every year as a family and it gets more and more special. If you’re going, get ready for a memorable day."

One of the snaps showed a loved-up 49-year-old Peter posing for a selfie alongside his wife, Emily, who he married in 2015. The pair could be seen wrapped up in matching black coats and cosy winter hats as they smiled into the camera among the snow-dusted trees.

Other images showed former I'm A Celebrity star Peter alongside his eldest daughter Princess, 15, and his and Emily's two children Amelia, eight, and Theo, six - from posing in front of the Lapland UK sign to donning their ice skates on the ice, cuddling together for a family photo with some added penguin aides in two.

And addressing his skating skills, Peter also shared a video of him ice skating with Theo while Emily was heard laughing in the background at her husband's self-admitted "questionable" skating skills.

But it wasn't long before fans were commenting on the post as they cooed over the sweet family photos. @fran22ces said: "This is just an amazing photo of a happy family. it is a shame in a way that you have to cover such the kids faces. Hope you all have a great Xmas."

@andrew_ananth_kw commented: "Loving this couple and family! Absolutely beautiful." @sandrajanephelps1 echoed: "Beautiful family & couple have a great Christmas guys." @mrs_mabbutt_ posted: "I can't believe how your children have grown , I do miss your live program watching you as a family . Merry Christmas."

@chell.stormy joked: "Not sure you’ll get on dancing on ice just yet @peterandre but practice makes perfect. Great memories to treasure." @wifeandmumlife shared: "What beautiful photos of you all. Merry Christmas to you all." @clairenaylorphotography added: "Absolutely gorgeous picture."

As mentioned, the post came just a couple of days before comments made about Peter by Rebekah Vardy resurfaced in a new two-part drama about her court case with fellow WAG Coleen Rooney. The first part of Vardy v Rooney: A Courtroom Drama aired on Channel 4 on Wednesday night (December 21) with the second to follow tonight (Thursday, December 22).

Viewers were able to relive the famous 'Wagatha Christie' case from this summer, which has been created from the court transcripts, but many couldn't help laughing as the first part unfolded. But viewers also spared a thought for Peter when the courtroom drama revisited the moment Rebekah was questioned about likening the pop star's manhood to a "small chipolata."

During the court case, she was asked about a 2004 kiss-and-tell interview, in which she described a sexual encounter with singer Peter. In the proceedings at London’s High Court, she took to the stand to admit she regretted describing Andre's 'manhood' as a "chipolata" and at the time, Peter took to Instagram to defend his pride.

He wrote on Instagram over the summer: "Do you know how hard it is to keep biting my lip on situations? But the way I look at it, most people saw in the jungle how an acorn turned into an oak so I think I’m OK.” He then added: “At least she has now admitted it wasn’t true. And was forced to say it."
