Peter Andre's wife Emily MacDonagh insists mental health should be taken seriously after Piers Morgan's GMB rant about Meghan Markle.
NHS frontline doctor Emily, 31, has spoken out about how important it is to have an 'open narrative' on mental health struggles after Piers claimed he 'didn't believe' Meghan's suicidal thoughts last week.
The mum-of-two has voiced her opinion on the controversial host's comments in her latest OK! Magazine column.
Emily said that 'Piers is a great presenter' and 'I think he'll be missed on Good Morning Britain', despite what went on last Tuesday.
However she revealed enough is enough when it comes to mental health and it needs to be taken seriously.

She continued: "In regards to Meghan's interview, we've got to have an open narrative on mental health.
"We always have to take it seriously when someone discloses something like suicidal thoughts.
"For people watching who are having a similar experience, they may be comforted by hearing Meghan has gone through the same thing."

Emily added 'it's a shame' that the Duchess of Sussex felt the Oprah Winfrey interview was the only way to 'get her voice heard' and that it has 'created so much animosity'.
Peter's wife suggested going forward, mental health should be at the 'forefront of everyone's conversations' to raise awareness and to remove stigma around the matter.
Her revelation comes after Emily treated her 48-year-old husband Peter Andre for his birthday.
In recent weeks, the pair managed to have some alone time and she went all out for Peter as she installed an igloo in their garden to create a cosy nook where they could sit down for a romantic meal.
The couple, who share kids Amelia, seven, and Theo, four, have had a lot to deal with during the coronavirus pandemic, with them home schooling their kids and Emily working on the NHS frontline.
So they made the most of Peter's special day by taking the opportunity for some much-needed quality time.
