Peter Andre's warning to boys sending Valentine's Day cards to daughter Princess

Protective dad Peter Andre has warned Princess' secret admirers about sending her a Valentine's Day card.

The 46-year-old dad-of-four joked in his latest New! magazine column that he will be censoring messages from any boys who try to win the heart of his eldest daughter, 12.

He wrote: "A message to my daughters. Any cards from boys will have to go through me first! LOL."

Pete went on to reveal his own plans for the big day, explaining he might end up spending the night away from his wife Emily.

He explained: "It's Valentine's this week but Emily's working and I might be away. It's not something we're big on, but I'll grab her flowers and a card.

"I never want anything from her. For me, it's about gifting my partner something. I know, I'm a softie, or as Junior says, wet."

Pete has two kids with Emily, Amelia and Theo, as well Junior, 14, and Princess from his marriage to Katie Price.

He's previously admitted he's a protective dad and has even warned his eldest kids they will never be allowed to go on Love Island.

The Flava hitmaker made his thoughts on the hit romance show clear years before they would even be eligible to star.

Peter mocked Piers Morgan - who recently told that if any of his sons were on the series that he would cut them out of his will - but revealed that he understood where the controversial journalist was coming from.

Pete told: "Unlike Piers, I like watching Love Island, but I do get where he is coming from - I've already told Bista [Princess] that unless she gets approached to do a show about nuns, she wont ever be doing anything like that.

"And Junior sometimes asks if I'd let him go on, but I've said no way - unless he's the host, not a contestant."

The doting father reflected: "I know the day will come when they make their own decisions and won't listen to their dad, but until then I'll do my best to guide them into making the right choices."
