Peter Andre's son Junior Andre stuns fans with unusual accent

Peter Andre ’s 16-year-old son Junior stunned fans with his unusual accent during an appearance on Good Morning Britain.

The teenager, who Peter shares with ex-wife Katie Price, was the subject of speculation on social media when he appeared in a segment on the ITV morning show, along with his dad.

The Mysterious Girl hitmaker, 49, is currently back in Australia after travel to the country was finally permitted following the Covid-19 pandemic.

The country was hit with some of the toughest lockdown restrictions, and almost two years since the pandemic hit, travellers have been allowed to fly Down Under once again.

Peter appeared alongside Junior in a segment on GMB, speaking to hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway via a live videolink, as he discussed how hard it has been not seeing his family for two years.

The father-of-four travelled to Australia to be reunited with his eldlery parents, and budding musician Junior was on hand to describe how it felt seeing his grandparents again.

However, viewers took to Twitter to share their bemusement over his accent, which sounded nothing like his Aussie dad Peter, or his mother Katie, who lives in Essex.

“What's up with Junior's accent?” one fan tweeted.

“Junior has a funny accent,” another added, as one agreed: “Junior Andre's accent!”

While another viewer took aim at Peter, and suggested Junior - who is privately educated - was embarrassing his father.

“I wonder if Junior Andre’s private school taught him that accent,” they fired. “If I were his dad I’d be mortified and embarrassed at Junior’s attempt to be seen as ‘cool’.”

But some viewers were emotional after the heartwarming segment, and noted how sweet it was that Junior called his grandparents by the traditional Cypriot names.

Peter Andre going to see his family in Australia isn’t newsworthy but hearing Junior call his grandparents Yiayia and Papou made me emotional because that’s what i called mine and i no longer have them,” one teary fan posted.

Peter, who also shares daughter Princess, 14, with ex Katie, is also dad to Amelia, eight, and Theodore, five, with second wife Emily.

And he paid tribute to his parents, mum Thea, 85, and dad Savvas, 88, as he made the most of spending time with them in Australia.

“My father...my absolute hero. Will cherish these moments forever,” he captioned sweet snaps of the pair together on Instagram.
