Peter Andre's manager shares post about 'dangerous anger' after Katie Price comments

Peter Andre’s manager has shared a post about “dangerous anger” after the singer said he would “deal” with Katie Price’s “lies”.

Claire Powell, the founder of The Can Group management agency, used to manage both Peter and Katie when they were together - but Claire continued to work with Andre after the couple parted ways.

She also works with the couple’s kids, Princess, 18, and Junior, 20, as well as Peter’s new wife, Emily, 35.

Claire took to her Instagram story three hours after Peter put up a statement accusing his ex-wife of making “repeated lies” and said he wanted to “set the record straight” after remaining silent for 16 years.

The Mysterious Girl singer, 52, had hit back at what he described as Katie’s “baseless lies” just hours after she publicly called for peace talks, saying their daughter Princess had been “unfairly” pulled into their ongoing dispute.

“The most dangerous anger comes from someone with a good heart,” Claire’s post read.

“They hold it in, stay calm, and forgive, until one day, they can't anymore. Don't push a good person too far.”

The text post was soundtracked by Ruelle’s Secrets and Lies.

Katie recently claimed Can management banned her from appearing on Princess’ show.

In 2010, Katie paid "substantial" damages to Claire, following the false claim Claire had an affair with Peter.

Hours after Peter’s statement, Katie claimed, via a spokesperson, she is being “gaslighted”.

A spokesperson for Price later responded to his remarks, telling the Daily Mail: “Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation.

“This was in the past and she doesn't feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly she's dealing with this the right way and it's now in her lawyers hands.

“Kate will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was...”

Peter posted his statement on Instagram just hours after Katie said she urged her ex-husband to sit down with her and “hash things out” in a bid to end their long-running feud for the sake of their daughter, 18.

He wrote: “For sixteen years I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silence has been incredibly frustrating."

He continued: “That ends today. The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight.

“For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood.

“In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases found my ex wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise, to me and my management.

“The same falsehoods are being repeated today."

He concluded: “Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations that I have yet to address. Those will be dealt with in the coming months.”

The former couple, who divorced in 2009 after a highly acrimonious split, are not on speaking terms, with Katie having publicly criticised Peter numerous times over the years.

Tensions deepened after she was left off the guest list for Princess’s milestone 18th birthday party in June, reportedly because filming for the teen’s ITV2 reality series The Princess Diaries was taking place and Katie had been banned from appearing on it.

Speaking on her Katie Price Show podcast, the mother-of-five insisted she is a “bloody good mum” and wants to attend Princess’s public appearances, even if she is not filmed.

“There’s no reason why both parents can’t support her,” she said. “It’s so not fair to bring Princess piggy in the middle… For the sake of the children, there’s room for everyone.”

Price stressed she and Princess remain close, speaking daily, but admitted she feels she has “missed out on so much” and believes “it’s about time all of us adults sit down and talk.”

The reality star shares Princess and son Junior, 20, with Andre, along with son Harvey, 22, from a previous relationship, and children Jett, 12, and Bunny, 11, with third husband Kieran Hayler.
