Peter Andre reported obsessed fan to police over fears she would shoot him

Peter Andre has revealed a terrifying encounter with an obsessed fan who he feared would shoot him.

The Mysterious Girl singer, 47, said the unnamed fan hid in the bushes by his house in Australia and took pictures of him and his brother.

She also sent Peter pictures of her looking down the barrel of a gun, which "freaked him out".

Talking to new! magazine, Peter said he reported the fan to the police but then never heard from her again.

He said: "She went to my school and got very obsessed. She sent pictures to my house of me and my brother that she'd taken behind bushes.

"One day I got a letter that said some really random things and there was a picture of her looking down the barrel of a gun.

"I was freaked out! Then I never heard from her again.

"It was very bizarre.

"I thought she was saying she was going to kill me!"

Thankfully the fan left Peter alone when he reported her to the police.

He added: "I did [report it to the police] and they were going to look into it.

"I never heard anything, though. It's still very strange."

It comes after Peter opened up how tough he's finding not being able to care for his poorly elderly parents.

His parents Savvas and Thea live in Australia, where some of the borders are closed due to the pandemic.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Peter said: "The borders in Victoria are completely shut, so it's a really difficult time right now."
