Peter Andre has paid tribute to his beloved mum in a gushing post to mark Mother’s Day.
The Mysterious Girl singer, 47, took to Instagram on Sunday to express how much he missed his dear mum who he hasn’t seen in over a year due to the pandemic.
The proud dad-of-four has been separated from his mum Thea, 84, and his dad Savva, 87, since the coronavirus pandemic caused travel restrictions to be implemented between countries.
Paying tribute to his elderly mother, Peter described Thea as ‘his everything’.
Alongside a wholesome throwback snap of the mother and son duo, Peter penned: “Mum, you are everything.
“Happy Mother’s Day (even though it’s not Mother’s Day in Australia).
“Love you so much. We wish we could be with you. Soon.”
The former I’m A Celebrity star previously spoke about how in the past he would immediately travel to Australia from his home in the UK if his parents needed him and fell ill, although he wouldn't break the rules put in place during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Peter has been in turmoil worrying about his elderly parents over the past year.
Speaking to Mail Online, he previously said: “I speak to my dad pretty much every day. The only saving grace is that my sister is there.
"I know that everyone is in the same position and when you know that… I am not singled out. No one from here can go to Australia."
"It is really difficult not knowing when I'll be able to see them again in person.”
Savva and Thea are grandparents to Peter's four children: 15-year-old Junior and 13-year-old Princess from his marriage to first wife Katie Price , and six-year-old Amelia and three-year-old Theo from his marriage to Emily McDonagh.
