Peter Andre out of action as he is feeling 'the most ill' he has been in years

Peter Andre says he feels the 'most ill' he has been in years after coming down with a mystery sickness bug.

The dad-of-four is suffering from a bad cough and his daughter, Princess, has urged him to get a PCR test to check that it is not Covid-19.

She asked him on an Instagram Live how he was feeling, and he responded: "I haven't felt like this for two or three years" as he repeatedly coughed and went on to claim that he was "so sick."

The star has previously fallen victim to coronavirus, in January this year, and has since been double vaccinated.

Pete was a no-show on stage just a few nights ago, for two nights running, when he was due to appear in a touring production of Grease the Musical at the Opera House in Manchester.

The singer's manager, Carl Machin, advised the performer to take a week out and told him: "you look ill, you sound awful and you have to sing live vocals.

"And also you're going to be close to cast members. You've got to think how you'd feel if you gave two or three cast members what you've got and they have to have time off."

Peter still didn't feel any better last night as his mini-me son, Junior, released his latest music.

He posted an update on his Instagram stories, aimed at his son, saying: "Good luck tonight son.

"Sorry I can't be with you but show 'em what you've got."

Junior, the 16-year-old rapper, has signed a mega record deal with Rebel Records and Columbia Records UK.

He released his first song as a livestream on his Instagram.

Poorly Peter is currently awaiting Covid test results.
