Peter Andre mocked by his wife and kids for not knowing what a prime number is

Peter Andre has been told to accept "he's not smart" in a brutal put down as he was mocked by his wife and kids for or not knowing what a prime number is.

The Aussie pop star, 47, has allowed cameras into his Surrey mansion to give fans a glimpse of his life with Emily and the children.

In the new show Life With The Andres, which the family are filming themselves, Pete is seen talking about his new role as a stay-at-home dad and homeschool teacher.

He's been struggling with some of the youngsters' maths lessons and was shown being given a helping hand by doctor Emily.

However, the pair ended up playfully bickering when Pete tried and failed to answer correctly when she asked him for the definition of a prime number.

He said: "A prime number is anything that can't be divided by itself for example one is a prime number," as exasperated Emily interrupted to point out: "No, everything can be divided by itself."

The debate moved outside as Pete and Emily sat in the garden with Junior, 14, and Princess, 12.

Pete said: "With the school work I have struggled a bit, I'm not going to lie... Some of the year one work I've fond a little bit tricky but some of it I found easy."

Princess then threw shade at her dad, saying: "Stop trying to change the subject, you're just not smart. You've got to accept that."

Pete went on: "One is a prime number, 11 is a prime number," before Emily asked: "So why is eight not a prime number."

The singer replied: "Cos it's even," and Emily retorted: "And what else?"

She went on to explain the situation to Junior, adding: "J the difference between you and dad right now is that me and Bista [Princess] have told him like 25 times what is a prime number."

Pete then declared: "We didn't learnt his in Australia" and Emily almost lost her rag as she told him: "Yes you did, they have prime numbers in Australia!"

Pete added: "Mate they don't," and Princess leaned over and tapped him on the head saying: "Are you like literally there?"

The Mysterious Girl star then walked off, telling the camera: "They're just trying to catch me out... I don't know what a prime number is."

The definition of a prime number is actually a number that is divisible only by itself and 1.
