Peter Andre hits out at son Junior's school for giving too much homework

Peter Andre has hit out at his son's school for giving him too much homework.

This week has been a very strange one for many parents and children across the country after schools closed their doors to the majority of pupils at the end of last week.

While his wife Emily, who works as a doctor, fights the frontline fight against coronavirus for the NHS, the Mysterious Girl singer is looking after his children at home and appeared on Wednesday's Good Morning Britain to share his experiences of home schooling.

Princess, Peter's daughter with ex-wife Katie Price, got in on her dad's interview and said he wasn't a good teacher as "he wasn't smart," and then getting onto the subject of the children's schooling, Peter said he thought his son Junior's school had been harsh with the amount of homework he'd been given.

Junior, 14, is Peter's other child with Katie, and Peter said he thought that seven hours of homework a day was excessive, telling GMB hosts Piers Morgan and Lorraine Kelly: "Junior had seven hours of homework yesterday. Personally I think it's a bit harsh at this time because the kids aren't used to being at home and doing all this work at home.

"But I'm not a headmaster, I'm not a teacher, I can only do what we're being told to do."
