Peter Andre heaped praise on his second wife Emily MacDonagh in an interview where he revealed the secret to their happy marriage.
The pair tied the knot in stunning family wedding back in 2015 and have gone on to have two children together, three-year-old daughter Amelia and son Theo, two.
Reflecting on his union with Emily in an interview with Closer Magazine , Peter said the key to their success is very simple.
Revealing his idea of the perfect partner had changed over time, Pete said: "I used to not understand it when people said, 'It's not about looks, it's about personality.' I used to go, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah.' But actually, relationship-wise, that's exactly what it is."
Pete continued: "Over time, it 100 per cent depends on how you get on. That ends up being the key factor as to whether relationships work or not.
"If you're in love with someone you can't tell if they've put on a couple of kilos or got a couple of wrinkles. You don't notice that, because you've fallen in love with a personality. You bypass everything else - even though Emily happens to be absolutely stunning, anyway," he gushed.
Despite being obviously happy with his set-up, Peter confessed that he struggles with confidence issues and 'learning to love himself.'
After famously showing off his ripped abs in the Mysterious Girl video bac in the 90s, Peter said at the age of 46 he's no longer comfortable walking on the beach on holiday with his shirt off.
"I built a rod for my own back in my 20s with that!" he added.
The dad said that he's trying to teach his for children not to be effected by the body insecurities that have plagued his adulthood.
And one way Peter's trying to do this is by showing them that social media is a 'fake place'.
"Looks aren't everything," he noted, before praising Loose Women star Stacey Solomon for using her social platform to show a realistic image of life.
Yesterday, Peter's wife Emily appeared to make a dig at Katie Price's plastic surgery as she slated 'unnecessary procedures.'
The doctor and mum of two made the comments just weeks after Katie jetted to Turkey for a face lift and other tweaking.
"I think it's the surgeon's responsibility as well to give honest advice about whether or not someone needs surgery," she wrote in her OK! magazine column.
"If you're paying for a procedure it's easy for surgeons to just agree to do it and take the money, but really their responsibility is to ensure they don't do anything unnecessary."
