Peter Andre explains why kids Princess and Junior haven’t asked for Christmas presents

Peter Andre has revealed that eldest kids Princess and Junior haven't asked him to get them anything for Christmas this year.

The duo are spending Christmas Day with their singer dad, 48, and stepmum Emily, as well as their younger siblings Amelia, seven, and brother Theo, five.

But the 16-year-old and 14-year-old haven't racked up a huge list of desired items this year, much to their dad's surprise.

The Mysterious Girl singer, who has just returned from the cancelled Miss World competition in Puerto Rico, explained he's having such a "magical time" with his kids this festive period.

Writing in OK! he said: "It’s been such a magical time with the kids, especially the younger ones. We’re spending Christmas together this year.

"Unbelievably, Princess and Junior haven’t asked for anything!

"Junior tells me that now he’s 16 he’s over things like PlayStation, and he has everything he wants like his phone and moped. Princess is the same, so I’ve just got them little bits I know they’ll like."

While their lists might be empty, Peter wasted no time in providing a magical experience for the family as he whisked them off to Lapland UK and shared the joyous occasion with his Instagram followers.

The kids looked on in awe in one snap as they chatted to Santa, while in another daughter Princess posed in front of a snowy background with her stepmum.

Peter also shared a sweet video of the park's reindeer in their pen.

He confessed that son Junior didn't make the outing though, saying he had a more appealing "offer".

The singer captioned his post: "Kids loved meeting Santa today at Lapland Uk. Highly recommend you go if you can. Amazing experience for the kids. Junior missed out as bed was more appealing."

Peter also admitted that baby number five could be on the agenda in the new year.

He said if he is to become a dad one final time it must occur next year.

"At the start of this year I said 2021 would be the year I consider having more children," he wrote. "However, as we spent more time in lockdown, I think we need to put everything back 12 months!"

Taking his age into consideration, the TV personality then set a time limit on when he plans to have a fifth child.

"So now I'm saying if it's going to happen, 2022 is the time."
