Peter Andre has encouraged his wife Emily to apply for the Great British Bake Off after her huge successes in the kitchen.
Emily MacDonagh regularly whips up incredible creations for her young family and her hubby reckons she’s good enough to take on the competition on the hit Channel 4 show.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker, 47, and his wife, 31, share their two children - a daughter, Amelia, and son Theodore - and Emily loves baking up a storm for their special occasions together.
Doctor Emily told OK! magazine in a recent interview that she’s been encouraged by her ever supportive husband to show her baking skills off to the world.
Speaking to the publication, Emily told how her and Pete are already big fans of the show: “I loved Matt Lucas’s impression of Boris Johnson on The Great British Bake Off!
“It was brilliant and myself and Pete couldn’t stop laughing. I also thought he did a great job of presenting.”
She went on to reveal how Pete thinks her creations in the house mean she’s good enough to compete on the baking show - but Emily’s not convinced.
“Pete has always said I should apply for the show. I really don’t think I’m good enough,” she said.
"I can make a tasty cake, but I can’t make anything fancy and when it comes to bread and pastry I haven’t got a clue!
“I don’t think Pete realises how good the bakers are.“
Earlier this year Emily unveiled an incredible cake she’d made for their six-year-old daughter.
The doting dad documented different stages of his wife’s cake's creation on his social media before revealing the incredible final result.
Showing off his wife’s unbelievable talents, Pete showed his Instagram followers Emily’s creation: a Smarties and chocolate fingers covered kaleidoscopic masterpiece, fit for their little princess’ birthday party.
Peter revealed how creative Emily had artistically covered the top of the cake in Smarties, and colour coordinated them to create a circular rainbow.
She’d then placed it on a glittery stand and decorated it with a bronze bow as a finishing touch.
