Peter Andre has lifted the lid on his coronavirus battle, describing the experience as "scary".
Last week, the former popstar, 47, revealed that he tested positive for deadly virus, and his family has been holed up at home to self-isolate.
The proud dad-of-four was surprised and confused to receive the positive results due to the fact he has been homebound while his wife Emily works on the frontline as a junior doctor for the NHS.
Describing his symptoms, Peter revealed that he’s been suffering from aches and pains since his diagnosis.
“I’ve got aches and I’ve just not been feeling quite right,” the Mysterious Girl singer wrote in his new! Magazine column.
“It’s a scary time out there for a lot of people. I’m being careful around the kids, so I’m wearing a mask and keeping my distance.”
The former I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here star went on to express his gratitude for having such a supportive network of friends and family in such uncertain times.
Peter said: “It’s worrying for people who live on their own. I feel incredibly grateful that I have my family around me, even if we can’t be near each other.”
Elsewhere in his column, Peter branded former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger as "careless" because of her decision not to wear face masks amid the pandemic.
The Only Fans star, 34, has been incredibly vocal about her thoughts on the vaccine, and she has faced harsh backlash from fans after claiming that she would not receive the all-important jab because the virus is ‘just a cold’.
Sharing his thoughts on Lauren’s view, Peter wrote: “Personally, I think it’s a careless thing to say. It’s just the wrong message. It’s no joke.”
The TV star went on to suggest that Lauren has not taken the pandemic seriously because she and her loved-ones have not yet been affected by it.
“I don’t think they realise how serious it can be. It’s scary to know some people don’t even care,” he penned.
