Peter Andre cuts interview short on Virgin Media's Elaine show after being interrupted by son

Peter Andre cut a live interview with Irish TV presenter Elaine Crowley short after his tot interrupted the call.

The 'Mysterious girl' hitmaker was on the Elaine show today talking about life during lockdown and being a stay at home dad.

Speaking to Elaine he said: "First of all I have to say I feel bad to say I have enjoyed the time at home because there are other  people who obviously haven’t.

"The reason for that is because I got to spend this amount of time with the children, that I haven’t really done before.

"Of course I’m close with the children but it’s very different when you are 24/7 being the stay at home dad.

"So when you are actually the stay at home dad, and you are having to do all the meals and the home schooling, that’s the thing that really got me and made me realise how much I appreciate school teachers.

"But I enjoyed the time I spent with them."

As Peter opened up about his wife Emily, working on the front line and juggling things at home, the star was soon called back to his daddy duties by his son, Theodore.

Hearing voices in the background Elaine asked: "Is that little screams I hear in the background? I think you're being called?"

Jokingly, Peter replied: "Can you hear Theo? I can tell you he’s actually calling me or mum to the bathroom.

"That's his call out. I’m finished."

The English singer was celebrating 25 years since releasing his hit single 'Mysterious girl'.

The Elaine Show airs weekdays at 3pm on Virgin Media One.
