Peter Andre apologises to wife Emily over Becky Vardy 'chipolata sex' scandal

Peter Andre took the time to apologise to his wife Emily Andre and his four children after his chiplata sex scandal with Rebekah Vardy resurfaced this week.

The WAG is currently in a libel trial with Coleen Rooney and, during the first day of the high-profile case, Peter's manhood was mentioned.

In the proceedings at London’s High Court, Rebekah took to the stand to admit she regretted describing his pecker as a “miniature chipolata” in a 2004 kiss-and-tell newspaper interview with the News of the World.

He recently took to Instagram to share a clip on the matter, with him apologising to his family in the captions.

"My thoughts on Rebekah V : Plse swipe to see all three vids," he said. "Here I was this morning sat in my robe feeling like I had to say something. Feel free to come to your own conclusion.

"Just a couple of things first. Sorry to Emily and the children that have had to see and hear some not very nice things. Secondly that ridiculous article yest (about a certain remote control…)was written fifteen years ago and republished yesterday. To be fair the media are very kind to me in general.

"Thirdly, you all know I like to take the piss out of myself but Maybe I felt a bit vulnerable this morning. Love from an Aussie Brit Greek."

In the video, he explained how he wanted to put his thoughts 'out there' and went on to say how he stayed quiet about the article for 15 years.

Peter looked solemn as he dressed down in a grey robe while addressing his followers.

"Yes, now she's gone to court and admitted the story was made up and she did that because her ex-husband forced her to do it. Fair enough," the singer said.

"But, put that all aside, and think how it feels if a man or I had said this about her anatomy or a man said something about another woman's anatomy and made up something saying whatever.

"You can use your imagination of saying something very unflattering. There would be outrage, there would be absolute outrage but because it's been said about me, I've been the butt of all jokes and I took it for 15 years."

He explained how some of his followers or random people will think he should get over it, but he reminded them how it has been going on for too long.

"It's been brought up in High Court and the lawyer is bringing it up and having a go at her for something that went on News of the World that went to 4 million people and that's brought up in court," he continued.

"It goes to a lot more than 4 million people. And it's brought up again and the only one who sits there and takes hit after hit about it is me.

"I've been laughing about it for a while but think about how it would feel if it was the other way round."

He explained that although we now all know it was a made-up story, it's 'not fair' that it keeps happening without any changes being made.

When Coleen's lawyer asked Rebekah whether it had been "respectful" of Peter's "right not to share this information", she said she regretted it.

"I was forced into a situation by my ex-husband to do this and it is something that I deeply regret," she said.

"It is not nice to read and I understand why this is being used – to me, this is mudslinging, and I was also threatened with mudslinging by Mrs Rooney's team."
