Peter Andre and his wife Emily MacDonagh have reportedly “begged” Katie Price to get help as she “hits rock bottom”.
Katie, 41, has endured a tumultuous few months after spiralling debts, plastic surgery wounds and relationship woes caught up with her.
Recent reports have claimed the brunette bombshell is planning to take aim at her children's fathers and wants to destroy her exes by writing a revenge book to “bring them down”.
Last week she was snapped drowning her sorrows in tequila and cocktails as she mourned the sudden death of her dog Sparkles, after being snapped looking "jittery" at her makeup masterclass event.
Her concerned ex Peter, 46, and his wife Emily, 30, are reportedly at their wits end with the troubled beauty and want her to get support.
An insider claimed to Closer magazine: "While Katie appears to be in denial, her friends are concerned she’s reached rock bottom
“As much as Emily and Pete want Katie to stop involving Pete in her drama, they want to see her get support for the sake of their kids, and because they don’t want to see her suffer.”
Pete has two kids with Emily, Amelia and Theo, as well Junior, 14, and Princess, 12, from his marriage to Katie.
The source claims the Mysterious Girl hitmaker and his doctor wife believe they can help Katie.
“As a medical professional herself, Emily would like to point her in the direction of experts who can support her.
“She’s suggested the idea to Pete and they want to tread carefully, so they’ve reached out via friends to implore her to seek professional help."
Former glamour girl Katie visited The Priory last month for an assessment to make sure she's fit to continue filming her reality show My Crazy Life.
But the source claims the reality star “insists she’s fine” after being told she could start filming.
“The psychiatrist she saw ahead of her new TV show said she was OK to star filing, so ow Katie thinks she doesn’t have any issues.
“But she’s not in a happy place and keeps wanting to party to forget her problems, rather than facing up to them."
Concern for Katie grew last week when she was snapped looking jittery as she attended her makeup masterclass in Aberdeen as part of her tour around the country.
In a number of social media videos that she posted following the event, Katie is seen posing with fans in front of a photo booth as she nervously chews on chewing gum whilst donning silly props and pulling sultry poses.
The mum-of-five looked anxious as she rubbed her nose and the camera flashed in front of her.
Katie was dealt another devastating blow this week as it emerged her dog Sparkle had escaped from the house and been hit by a car while she was away.
Reports suggest the Alsatian escaped from Katie's home and was mown down on a busy road nearby.
According to The Sun, the A24 is the same road where one of Katie’s horses died after escaping from a field in 2017.
A year later, Katie's German Shepherd Queenie was reportedly hit and killed by a delivery driver close to her home.
She has allegedly been reported to the RSPCA and could be banned from owning pets after the latest tragedy.
