Peter Andre forced to help Princess as vicious trolls target teenager online

Peter Andre has shared some of his wisdom with his eldest daughter.

The dad-of-four says he's had to advise Princess Andre, 15, about how to navigate sharing snippets of her life online, amid recent claims the teenager has been editing snaps of herself shared to her Instagram followers over recent weeks.

Peter - who shares Princess and her brother Junior Andre with ex-wife Katie Price - explains how he has always told his daughter to 'block and ignore' anyone who sends her negative comments on social media, but he's had to expand on his original advice to prevent his daughter going on a 'downward spiral'.

Earlier this month, Princess was forced to deny she had been photoshopping her recent holiday snaps, telling her followers: "For the people commenting about the photo apparently being edited you can quite clearly see that it’s my hair and not the tiles."

Doting dad Peter quickly jumped to his daughter's defence in the comment section of her Instagram update, telling his child: "sweetheart don’t get into the habit of worrying about what people say. Be you’re beautiful self and enjoy life."

Writing his latest column this week, Peter offered some more thoughts about his daughter's online activity and why he felt compelled to comment, as he shared his words of wisdom for Princess and anyone else experience trolling on social media.

"I've always told Princess that when she puts things on social media it's best to always either turn the comments off or block or ignore anybody who is negative," Pete writes in the latest issue of new! magazine.

"But when I saw someone accusing her of editing one of her pictures, and she replied, my comment was basically not to get into the habit of worrying about what people say. And this applies to everyone," the Mysterious Girl singer continues. "Just be your beautiful self and enjoy life."

Pete concludes saying: "I just don't want her to get into the habit of worrying about trolls, because if you do it can be a downward spiral."

The dad-of-four welcomed Princess into the world in June 2007 with his then-wife Katie Price, two years on from the pair becoming parents for the first time together when their son Junior was born. The former couple split in May 2009 after three-and-a-half years of marriage.

Pete's social media advice for Princess comes as the teenager's mum Katie is rumoured to have split with fiancé Carl Woods once again - as the on-off couple unfollow each other on Instagram.

The engaged couple have sparked yet more rumours of a split, as they seemingly snub one another on social media during the star's latest trip abroad this week, as the former glamour model jetted off to Spain to shoot content for her OnlyFans page.

At the time of reporting [September 13], Carl is no longer among the 956 accounts the mum-of-five, 43, follows on Instagram, and the former Love Island contestant has also seemingly unfollowed his wife-to-be on the social media platform.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday morning, Katie didn't address her recent unfollow, as she shared a series of snaps of herself with her 2.6million followers.

The Mirror has previously reached out to representatives for both Katie and Carl for comment.
