Peter Andre admits his hair disaster has turned into full-blown crisis as he begs for a trim

Peter Andre desperately wants the barber shops to re-open and is begging for a trim.

The singer took to his Instagram over the weekend and showed off his impressive head of hair, which has grown considerably over the lockdown, to his fans.

Alongside a short clip of himself looking miserable at the camera, he wrote: "Open the barber's Boris @borisjohnsonuk #openthebarbers."

Peter's fans were in hysterics at his video, with many flocking to the comments section to share their thoughts.

Some even likened him to the man from the Go Compare adverts.

"Go Compare," one person wrote alongside a string of laughing emojis.

Another person joked: "Omg straighten it and embrace the mysterious girl vibe."

"This made me laugh so much," a third penned.

It comes after Pete recruited his daughter Princess, 13, to sort out his spring wardrobe for him.

In his latest YouTube video, Princess sat at a computer and browsed online stores, consulting step-mum Emily for any tips she might have.

Princess throws a concerned look at the camera when the clothes arrives and Pete tells her he's confident she picked well.

He tried on a selection of outfits hand-picked by the teenager in the video, which was hilarious to watch.

Pete's spent the majority of the past year shouldering homeschooling responsibilities as his wife Emily heads off to her job as an NHS doctor.

As well as Princess and her brother Junior, 15, who he shares with Katie Price, Pete has Amelia, seven, and Theo, three, with Emily.
