Pete Doherty says he was passed around for sex 'like a Primrose Hill dildo'

Pete Doherty claims he was told to have sex in exchange for bed and board, and has been passed around by women "like a Primrose Hill dildo".

The Libertines star, now 40, says landlords would demand he have sex with them, or risk being kicked out on to the streets.

Referring to the posh part of north London where many stars - including his ex Kate Moss - live and socialise, the troubled singer said: "I don't want to be shared or passed around like a f**king tin can used as an ashtray at a party. I don't want to be a Primrose Hill dildo."

Speaking to the Guardian about his 15 years of fame, the talented musician also spoke of his relief at no longer "being told 'you have to sh*g me or you're out on your ear'" after moving in to the Margate hotel co-owned by his Libertines bandmates.

"It's been the saving of me. It was a dream having a place where I didn't have to worry about rent for the first time. Just having a roof over my head, not having a gun to my head with the threat of eviction," he went on.

Asked what he meant by the dildo comment, Pete said: "Good-looking lads who make the mistake of falling in love with people who are incapable of falling in love back."

"I did a f**king good impression of one for a while," he added.

Pete also admitted to still not being free of the drugs that have plagued him for years, confessing that "part of me would [love to be clean], just so I can feel things".

He went on: "There are so many people in my life who deserve better. It really is a mental deficiency.

"I'd be a force to be reckoned with! I'd have money and self-respect and clean hands."

Doherty also opened up about the last time he hit the headlines in August 2018 for scarfing a 4,000-calorie fried breakfast in just 20 minutes.

"I was starving. I was skint, so I had a go at it," he said of the £17.99 mega-breakfast that challenge-winners can eat for free if they finish it off in the alloted time.

"I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't finished it. It's the one thing that’s made me accepted in the community here."
