Pete Davidson says he's dating his 'celeb crush' amid Phoebe Dynevor romance rumours

Pete Davidson dropped a huge hint about rumours of a romance with Bridgerton 's Phoebe Dynevor by admitting he's dating his "celebrity crush".

The King of Staten Island star took part in a virtual Q&A on Sunday and was asked by a Marquette University student if there are any famous women he's attracted to.

"I'm with my celebrity crush," the 27-year-old funnyman responded. "That's all I can speak on."

The Saturday Night Live star gave the students a cheeky grin but didn't specifically name Phoebe.

It was reported the two were growing close to each other last month after the comedian flew from New York to her hometown in the UK.

Pete was pictured in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, with a fan confirming the sighting with a snap.

The town is the actress’ hometown and where her mother, Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor, lives.

Page Six first announced the Bridgerton star was seen in New York filming Younger, a new comedy-drama in which she stars as an Irish citizen who gets married to stay in the US.

A source told The Sun : "Pete is a real charmer and has hit it off with Phoebe, who is obviously beautiful and talented.

"They have been enjoying each other's company, although they haven't known each other long.

"The fact he has flown all the way to the UK shows how interested he is."

Pete's most famous relationship was with pop star Ariana Grande a few years ago. The positions singer and Pete were engaged for four months until October 2018.

He also previously had brief romances with Kate Beckinsale, Kaia Gerber and Margaret Qualley.

Meanwhile, fans were convinced that Phoebe and Regé-Jean Page had an off-screen romance as their onscreen chemistry was perfect.

She told You magazine that it wasn’t the case and explained: "I'd love to say there was really something between us. But no, it has always been strictly professional."
