Pete Davidson says he'll 'burn off' his tattoos to get more film roles

Pete Davidson is so determined to make it big in Hollywood that he is "burning off" his tattoos to land more roles.

The 27-year-old comedian and actor is hot property following his roles in The King of Staten Island and The Suicide Squad.

But he says he's prepared to remove his ink so that his daily "three hours" in makeup to cover them up becomes a thing of the past.

Speaking on the Late Night with Seth Meyers show, Pete said: "I honestly never thought that I would get the opportunity to act and I love it a lot."

But he admitted the inconvenience his body art causes. "You have to get there three hours earlier to cover all your tattoos, because for some reason, people in movies, they don't have them that much," he said.

And Pete has revealed that he's already started the tattoo removal process.

However, he did say that "burning them off is worse than getting them".

He continued: "Because not only are they, like, burning off your skin, but you're wearing these big goggles, right? So you can't see anything and the doctor's in there with you.

"So before he goes to laser each tattoo, you have to hear him announce what the tattoo is to make sure if you want to keep it or not.

"So I'll just be sitting there all high off of the [nitrous oxide] … and then all of a sudden I'll just hear, "Are we keeping the Stewie Griffin smoking a blunt?" And then I have to sit there and be like, 'No, Dr G.'"

The comedian first announced he would be getting his tattoos removed in December.

He is currently dating his "celebrity crush," Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor.

The pair are said to be going from strength to strength after Pete was said to have become smitten with the 26-year-old after binge watching the Netflix series over Christmas.

Pete was previously engaged to Ariana Grande.
