Pete Davidson and Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor are paparazzi shot official after they were spotted coupling up at Wimbledon, and I do declare that I loveth this for thou. Next to Normal People‘s Paul Mescal and Phoebe Bridgers, this is my favourite cross-continental couple in Hollywood.
Over the weekend, the pair attended day 6 of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London. A testament to their powerful image as a new couple, Pete and Phoebe were seen wearing matching bright and dark-toned olive green outfits and being extra cute together.
And, not gonna lie, the pics will have you royally swooning just as they did me. Buckle up for the ride to lovetown because here we gooo.
I could write an entire six-part fanfic epic around these photos, they’re so fkn cute. Game, set and match.
The highlight of day six of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, and assumedly what Pete and Phoebe are gleefully reacting to in the photos, was when Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev beat 2017 runner-up Marin Cilic after losing two sets.
Truly, it was a match for the history books and something my fanfic brain is now imagining Phoebe and Pete excitedly gushing about over dinner that night. Y’know, after their most royal of promenades in the palace gardens.
Rumours first began circulating that the Saturday Night Live! comedian and Bridgerton star were dating back in March, after Page Six reported that Dynevor was “spending time” with Davidson in the United Kingdom.
Then, one week later, a 14-year-old school student told local publication StokeonTrentLive that they spotted them outside her home in Caversall, Straffordshire.
“They walked past our house and we saw them holding hands and hugging each other,” Wagg said.
“I walked up to him and asked him if it was Pete Davidson and he said ‘no’ in an English accent but then later he said ‘I’m just kidding’ in an American accent. It was quite funny.”
Simply put, I love this for my obnoxiously tall and funny sketch-comedy limbo.
