Pete Davidson has reflected on the discourse around his, shall we say, well-endowed-ness, years after his ex Ariana Grande infamously celebrated his BDE.
ICYMI, Davidson has long enjoyed a reputation that his… there’s no other way to say it… dick is massive, thanks in part to comments made by Grande on social media back when they were engaged in 2018.
“Like 10 inches?” Grande wrote on X in response to a fan asking how long her song “Pete Davidson” was. “Oh fuck … I mean … like a lil over a minute.”
Davidson’s streak of high-profile relationships after he and Grande’s split, including with Kim Kardashian, did little to rub off (sorry) the rumours, and while it’s not necessarily a bad reputation to have, the SNL star said it wasn’t all sunshine and roses and big dicks.
“I was embarrassed by it because … no one talked about any work I was doing. They were just like, ‘Oh, that’s the fuck stick,’” Davidson said during a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club podcast.
“And that hurt so much,” he added — and I’m sure the “Side To Side” singer would agree.
Davidson went on to say that his SNL castmates noticed how “sad” and “embarrassed” he was by all the attention, but added that “no one was outrightly mean by any means”.
While the actor said rumours of his junk “sound great on paper”, he theorised that much of the chatter was brought on because he’s “not Glen Powell handsome.”
“I’m just like this dude that tells dick jokes and is a drug addict,” Davidson said.
When asked about the source of the speculation, Davidson seemingly referenced Grande, saying news articles about his BDE appeared “when I started dating someone that I guess they considered out of my league”.
“You know, they were like, ‘This guy must have big dick energy,’ and then someone confirmed it,” Davidson said.
Despite his embarrassment around it, Davidson has put his BDE to good use in recent months, announcing in July that he is expecting his first baby with girlfriend Elsie Hewitt.
Grande, meanwhile, has moved on with Ethan Slater, whose most notable character, as Spongebob on Broadway, doesn’t even possess a dick, let alone BDE.
