Pete Carroll and his Seattle Seahawks’ staff wrapped up their first day of coaching the NFC roster on Wednesday, ahead of the 2020 NFL Pro Bowl in Orlando.
Carroll also has the opportunity to get in some extra work this week with two of his own players, quarterback Russell Wilson and first-time Pro Bowler, Shaquill Griffin.
While most consider the Pro Bowl to be merely an exhibition matchup or All-Star game, a staggering amount of work goes into prepping the squad for the big day.
According to the Seahawks’ website, Seattle sent 27 coaches, four athletic trainers, four members of the equipment staff, three members of the team video staff, three doctors, five members of the football support staff, one member of the communications department, and three members of the digital media department to Orlando.
If you’re counting, Seattle’s staff is larger than the 44 players assigned to the NFC roster.
