Pete Andre's wife Emily shares heartbreak over sending Theo back to nursery

Peter Andre's wife Emily MacDonagh's has shared her pain at her children going back to school.

Emily, who has been married to the Mysterious Girl singer, 47, since 2015, said their children Amelia, six, and Theo, three, have gone back to school and nursery this week.

Writing in her OK! magazine column, Emily, 30, explained that it was easier for Amelia than it was for Theo.

She said: "Her first few days have been great and she's really enjoyed seeing her friends and teacher."

Emily added: "Of course, with younger children it's more difficult to get them to social distance, but the nursery is obviously going to try their best.

"At the same time, if Theo fell over and hurt himself I would want someone to give him a cuddle because he's only three and doesn't understand what coronavirus is."

Emily is also step mum to Pete's kids Junior, 14, and Princess, 12, from his marriage to Katie Price.

She said she'd be happy if the duo didn't go back until the next school year.

Emily continued: "There's still talk that Junior and Bista (Princess' nickname) might not be returning to school until September and if I'm honest, I'd be happy if they didn't go back this school term."

Peter previously revealed that he has clashed with Emily over sending the kids back to school.

As lockdown restrictions begin to gradually ease, Reception and Years 1 and 6 are allowed to go back.

As a doctor, Emily is a key worker so Theo is allowed to return to nursery.

Pete said in a recent Instagram post: "We very rarely have opposite views - but I don't think they should go back tomorrow and Emily thinks they should.

"The only reason I'm going with what Emily says is because she's a doctor."

He added: "If it was up to me I'd say no."
