Pet food sales will boost Dogs Trust 'Change The Tale' Covid crisis campaign

Pet food maker Lily’s Kitchen has launched a limited-edition ‘Be My Valentine’ tray for dogs with proceeds helping the work of a leading charity.

Available through February, this limited-edition Be My Valentine recipe is the ultimate surf and turf meal for four-legged friends with a donation from items purchased from the manufacturer forwarded to Dogs Trust.

Made with fresh ingredients, pups can expect to tuck into succulent chunks of freshly-prepared beef and responsibly sourced salmon with prawns. It is also packed with nourishing greens to dogs a healthy boost, with asparagus and peas stirred throughout.

The donation to Dogs Trust will support the charity’s ‘Change the Tale’ campaign, an initiative to support dogs, their families and pet parents who have been impacted by the pandemic.

The charity believes more people might have to make the heartbreaking decision to give up their beloved dogs if they struggle to cope with the fallout of the coronavirus crisis or life changes for them in a way they couldn’t have foreseen.

Understanding the emotional heartbreak that comes with giving up a dog, especially when circumstances change unexpectedly, the charity’s dedicated team of experts help and advise wherever possible.

Dogs Trust urges people to get in touch with them and they will do everything they can to help.

‘Be My Valentine’ is available now direct from lilyskitchen.co.uk with an RRP of £1.15 per tray.
