A pervert sent three videos of children being raped and kept around 30 indecent images of children for nine years.
Fartam Bassiri was also found with eight extreme pornographic images - one of which portrayed an act likely to result in serious injury to a person's private parts.
Despite being found with a sickening library of images the 45-year-old claims he isn't sexually attracted to children and instead said it was a "peculiar interest" in the 'shocking' nature of the images.
Today at Liverpool Crown Court Judge Rachel Smith asked counsel for an update on where the case was up to.
Jonathan Turner, defending, said: "He accepts having sent three video images that, as I understand it, was the main issue between the crown and myself."
Mr Turner said that a number of the images were duplicates and told the court there were around 30 which were not.

Mike Stephenson, prosecuting, said: "I think an important aspect is whether he has a sexual interest in children or not."
Judge Smith explained that a previous judge had said it is a "common assertion" in these cases, adding "it will be up to the sentencing judge to determine what a defendant's motivation was".
Mr Turner said: "The defendant maintains he has no sexual interest in children."
Bassiri, of Keyes Close, Birchwood in Warrington, previously admitted; three counts of downloading indecent photographs of children, distributing three child rape videos, possessing an extreme pornographic image portraying serious injury to a person's private parts, possessing seven extreme pornographic images including animals and possessing around 30 indecent images of children.
Bassiri is charged with downloading images of children between April 1, 2009 and December 11, 2018.
He was found with the extreme pornographic images on December 11, 2018 and was charged with distributing the three videos of child rape between December 1, 2017 and December 1, 2018.
Judge Rachel Smith adjourned the hearing so a probation report could be obtained.
Bassiri will appear at Liverpool Crown Court to be sentenced in February.
