A Perthshire optician was left stunned over the weekend after X-rated pictures appeared under a Google search for the business.
Pitlochry Opticians said the explicit images had nothing to do with them.
The pictures, which appear to have been removed, appeared to show a lady wearing a fish net outfit, lying down on a bed with legs stretched out with an intimate part of her body on show.
Police have been alerted and are investigating.
A Facebook post on the Pitlochry Opticians page said: “Thank you for the many messages of concern unfortunately our business has been one of many in the area that has received a series of intimate images posted to our Google business profile.
“This woman is not in association with Pitlochry Opticians and may be a victim of an unwanted personal photo leak.
“We will be removing any further comments and hope that no other businesses have been affected.
“If this was an unwanted leak then our sympathies go out to the women involved.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing following a report of offensive online content reported to the police on Sunday, May 9, 2021.”
