Perth rail passengers told by ScotRail to expect delays and cancellations after flooding

Perth commuters have been told to expect delays and cancellations to trains in and out of the city today.

The line is currently flooded at the Mill O’Keir viaduct, forcing the line between Perth and Stirling to be closed (Friday, February 21).

And although the line through Larbert is still open, trains are needing to go at a much reduced speed of only 5mph because of the flooding.

Passengers travelling on the Glasgow to Aberdeen line through Perth have now been told to expect delays or even cancellations because of this.

ScotRail has added some trains may stop and start in Perth rather than going on to Invergowrie and Dundee.

On social media ScotRail has added it is working to secure replacement transport between Perth and Stirling and Perth and Inverness.
