Perth and Kinross residents told to expect wind and rain this weekend as Met Office issues yellow weather warning

Residents in Perth and Kinross have been told to expect even more rain and wind this weekend, after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning.

The Met Office has said people should expect travel disruption, floods and even power cuts during the stormy weather.

On Friday, February 21 there is a yellow weather warning for rain.

Residents have been warned the heavy rain could cause some homes and businesses to flood, and to expect widespread travel disruption.

And on Saturday, February 22 there is a yellow weather warning for wind.

The strong, gusty winds and showers may bring even more travel disruption and short term loss of power.

Residents have been told the wind warning will also cause travel disruption on Saturday.
