Perth and Kinross Council miss kerbside bin collections in Blackford and Strathallan

Residents living in Blackford and Strathallan had their bin collections missed yesterday.

Perth and Kinross Council were due to pick up kerbside waste bins in the two villages yesterday (Wednesday, March 4).

However, due to “operational reasons”, the bin collections were not completed.

Residents who had their bin missed are now being asked to leave them out on the kerbside for a further 48 hours.

A spokesperson for Perth and Kinross Council said: “Due to operational reasons, we were unable to complete bin collections in the Blackford and Strathallan areas today (Wednesday, March 4).

“If your bins were missed, please leave them out for a further 48 hours to enable us to collect them.

“We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused and are working to resolve the issue.”
