Person taken to hospital with leg wounds following crash in Mansfield Woodhouse

Emergency services were called to a Nottinghamshire street this evening following a crash.

Nottinghamshire police said East Midlands Ambulance Service paramedics took someone to hospital following the incident in George Street, Mansfield Woodhouse

A spokesperson at Nottinghamshire police said officers were called to the incident at 5.50pm.

They said: "We were called to a road traffic collision, there were no serious injuries. An ambulance attended and a person with leg wounds went to hospital.

"Police are still at the scene."

A reader told Nottinghamshire Live that the road was closed off following the incident this evening.

They said there were two police cars and an ambulance at the scene.
