A person has been taken to hospital following a collision involving a motorbike in Middleton.
The A664, Rochdale Road, in Stanycliffe is currently closed in both directions between Stanycliffe Lane and Slattocks Roundabout following the incident.
North West Ambulance Service was called at 4.13pm on Wednesday and sent a number of resources to the scene, including the air ambulance and an advanced paramedic.
One patient has been taken to Salford Royal Hospital by land ambulance.
Motorists are being warned of slow traffic in the area and Go North West has also advised of delays to some bus services due to the closures.
