Person taken to hospital after collision between car and motorbike in Oldham

A person has been taken to hospital following a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Oldham.

Police were called to the junction of Netherhey Lane and Broadway in Royton at 1.15pm, to reports of a collision.

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with back injuries.

Netherhey Lane remains closed and Broadway partially blocked in both directions.

There is queueing traffic in the area.

The North West Ambulance Service confirmed that it was called at 1.12pm today and one person has been taken to hospital.
