A person has been struck by a vehicle outside a Saltmarket pub this evening.
Police and paramedics are at the scene after the collision was reported near the Tolbooth bar, at the junction of Saltmarket and Trongate, at around 5:55pm.
The extent of the person's injuries are not known at this time.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "At around 5:55pm we were made aware of a person being struck by a vehicle outside the Tolbooth bar in Saltmarket.
"Emergency services are in attendance. "
