Emergency services have been called to the railway line between Glasgow and Paisley after a person was struck by a train.
The alarm was raised at around 12.40pm on Friday, June 25, after the tragic incident between Glasgow Central and Paisley Canal.
ScotRail have confirmed that services in the area will be cancelled or delayed while police deal with the ongoing incident.
The condition of the person involved is not currently known.
ScotRail tweeted: “Unfortunately we've had reports of a person being struck by a train between Glasgow Central and Paisley Canal.
"We're working closely with emergency services at this time.
“Services between Glasgow Central and Paisley Canal will be cancelled.”
British Transport Police have been contacted for comment.
