
A person was killed in a stabbing Monday in Washington Park on the South Side, police said.
A male of an unknown age was involved in an argument with someone who stabbed him in the chest about 10:47 a.m. in the first block of West Garfield Boulevard, Chicago police said.
The male stumbled across the street before collapsing, police said. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he died.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office hasn’t released details on the death.
No arrests have been reported. Area One detectives are investigating.
