A man was fatally shot on Interstate 57 near suburban Markham Sunday afternoon.
The shooting happened about 3:20 p.m. in the northbound lanes near 159th Street, Illinois State Police said.
Robert A. Braboy, 35, was taken to a hospital, where he died, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
All northbound lanes were closed starting at 167th Street until 8:45 p.m.
No other information was released.
