Man shot dead in LeClaire Courts: police

A person was shot and killed Friday afternoon in LeClaire Courts on the Southwest Side.

The shooting happened about 12:45 p.m. in the 4500 block of South Lamon Avenue, according to preliminary information from Chicago police.

A male victim was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released details about the fatality.

Additional details have not been released.
