Person rushed to hospital after car flips on its side during Clifton crash

A person was taken to hospital after a car flipped on its side during a Clifton crash.

The collision occurred on Upper Belgrave Road at approximately 4:17pm on Sunday, April 28.

Emergency services were called to the scene following the single-vehicle smash, which left a car on its side.

A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 16:17 to reports of a road traffic collision, reportedly involving two vehicles.

"We attended with HART (hazardous area response team) and an ambulance. One patient was taken to hospital for further treatment."

A witness, who wished not to be named, said the car crashed into parked vehicles during the accident.
