A person has been hospitalised after a van and a car collided on a Glasgow road, closing it for almost five hours.
The accident happened on Broomloan Road at its junction with Paisley Road West in Govan, near Rangers ' Ibrox Stadium, at around 11am on Thursday, July 8.
Emergency Services rushed to the scene and the person was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in the city for treatment.
Their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
Police attended and closed the road for several hours while emergency crews dealt with the accident.
It reopened at around 3.50pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 11am on Thursday, 8 July, 2021 following the report of a road crash between a van and a car on Broomloan Road at its junction with Paisley Road West.
"Emergency services attended and there does not appear to be any life threatening injuries.
"The road re-opened around 3.50pm.
They added: "One person was taken the QEUH for treatment for what appear to be non-life threatening injuries."
