Person rescued after injury at 40m above construction site

Firefighters have rescued a person who was injured while 40 metres above a construction site.

Dublin Fire Brigade tweeted at 10.55pm today that technical experts had helped the victim back to the ground.

It said: "Our high line rescue team were called to a construction site after a person was injured 40 metres (131ft) up.

"Firefighter/paramedics from Phibsborough fire station trained in heights rescue stabilised the person before they were lowered to the ground."
