In the latest attack, a 21-year-old woman was walking home when a man approached her, knocked her to the ground and assaulted her, police said. The man fled when she screamed. She was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition.

In the Aug. 9 attack, a man grabbed a woman and assaulted her, police said. In the Saturday attack, a woman was walking home when she was approached from behind and held by a man, police said, but she was able to fight him off.

Police described the suspect as possibly Hispanic with olive skin and short dark hair, 25 to 45 years old, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-9, weighing 160 to 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark short-sleeved polo shirt with white horizontal stripes and jeans cuffed at the bottom.
