The search for a teenage boy who went missing in water off the Yorke Peninsula is expected to resume on Sunday morning.

Emergency services were called to the Inneston National Park just before 2:00pm on Saturday, after a reports a group of people were swept off the rocks at Brown's Beach.

Police say four people managed to make it back to shore safely, however they hold "grave concerns" for a teenage boy who has not been seen since.

The search was suspended on Saturday evening, with local fishermen working with emergency services during the search, but they were unable to locate the boy.

Three other people suffered minor injuries in the incident.
