A man was killed Friday in a vehicle crash in Marquette Park on the Southwest Side.
About 3:15 p.m., the man was driving a 1998 Toyota Camry in the 6800 block of South Kanst Drive when he crashed into a tree, Chicago police said.
He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he later died.
An autopsy conducted Saturday found that the man died from multiple injuries sustained when a motor vehicle struck a fixed object, the medical examiner’s office said.
The medical examiner’s office has not yet identified the man.
His death has been ruled an accident.
