A person was injured after allegedly attempting to steal a motorbike in Trafford.
Police were initially called to reports of a disturbance on Laurel Walk in Partington at 7pm on Tuesday (August 10).
A spokesperson for GMP initially said one person had suffered a stab wound.

They have since confirmed that the alleged offender was injured during the incident, and fled the scene.
The force say they are unable to confirm if a stabbing took place.

An investigation has since been launched, with enquiries said to be ongoing.
No arrests have been made.
Laurel Walk was cordoned off after the incident and forensic teams could be seen at the scene.
A spokesperson for GMP said: "Officers were called at around 7pm yesterday (Tuesday 11 August) to a report of an attempted theft of a motorbike on Laurel Walk, Partington.
"The alleged offender, who is believed to have been injured during the incident, fled the scene prior to police arrival.
"Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made."
