A person is in a "serious condition" after a house fire in South Gloucestershire.
Between 10 and 15 emergency services vehicles descended on the village of Yate shortly before 9.50pm this evening (December 15).
Firefighters helped to rescue two people from the blaze.

Police officers and paramedics raced to the scene.
An Avon Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "We were called to a significant fire in Yate at 21:49.
"Firefighters from Yate, Kingswood and Temple are attending. We can confirm that both casualties have now been rescued but one is in a serious condition.
"Four Firefighters in breathing apparatus used two high pressure hose real, one 45ml jet.
"We are joined by Avon and Somerset Police and the ambulance service on site."
