Person in hospital after armed men broke into Chisholm home: Police

Two armed men broke into a Chisholm home overnight, leaving one person in hospital, police say.

Police allege the armed men broke into a Goldstein Crescent home while several residents were inside, about 10pm Tuesday.

The men allegedly made demands and injured one person before fleeing in a car with property taken from the home.

The injured person was treated at the scene and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Later that night, two men in the same car from the Chisholm home, were seen allegedly trying to break into a vehicle in Richardson.

The two men were taken into custody and are assisting police with their enquiries.

Police ask that anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information relating to the home invasion, including CCTV or dash cam footage from around the area, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
